Since I can remember, I’ve always had a passion for food. The exciting feeling of trying out new restaurants out and experimenting with many cuisines is something that I’ll always find enjoyed. Especially as I live in between London and Dubai, I always have a the chance to check out the new upcoming restaurants whether it be in Soho, Shoreditch, Jumeriah or Downtown Dubai. One of my favorite parts of traveling is being able to try out street food as you can experience the culture through the cuisine. Some of the best dishes I’ve ever tried have been on the streets of Italy, Mumbai and Singapore. There’s still so many places I would love to travel to so I can learn more about different foods. Even though its very easy to eat whatever I want, it’s very difficult to feel content and not guilty without keeping a balance with exercising. In the past two years I’ve tried to make it a point to work out between 3 to 4 times a week, even though there’s times where I won’t work out for a while, I’ve realized it’s important to keep going and stay motivated in order to see long term results. I’ve come to terms with the fact that I don’t have mannequin body as I’ve got curves, and I’m okay with that as for me it’s become less about how I look and more about I feel. That’s why it’s more about having a lifestyle change when it comes to eating, so you don’t feel deprived and stop yourself from enjoying food, especially if you love it as much as I do. This blog is about really embracing who you are, and it’s important not to loose yourself by constantly feeling let down by societies expectations what your body should be like.
